We're on a combi to Karonga, the Malawi-Tanzania border town. From there we'll head for Mbeya, a hole of a transit town 2.5 hours from the border. If we're lucky there's an overnight bus or train to Dar es Salaam. Otherwise we stay in Mbeya and head to Dar in the morning.
