Goodbye Tofo. Vilankulo: See you soon
Hitch hiking through Mozambique has been relatively fruitful. We did had to take a minibus from Maputo to Tofo. But we got a real nice lift from Swaziland border to Maputo and now we're on the road to Vilankulo with 2 South African guys.
No. Not road. "Road" is not the word here. Most of the time it makes more sense to drive on the unpaved shoulder. You drive where ever the surface is the smoothest, which can be on the shoulder on the wrong side of the road. We've spent half the time dodging cars and the other half dodging car sized pot holes. Fortunately no one in our little green Opel is prone to car sickness, otherwise we'd be holding back vomit in addtion to holding back loud proclamations of "OH SHIT"
UPDATE: I never had enough signal to manage to send this, so we're in Vilankulo now. The road eventually got better.
